Since 1985, Peel Childrens Centre has been helping children, youth and families deal with mental health problems. An officially recognized childrens mental health centre, based in the Region of Peel in Ontario, Peel Children's Centre offers many excellent, creative and free-of-charge services to more than 3,600 children, teenagers, and their families every year. We also offer services in the Maritimes through our facilities in Moncton, New Brunswick. Our team of mental health workers offers many services that help prevent problems with mental health or deal with them early. We also offer counselling and programs in the community, including day treatment at school or treatment in one of our homes, which is called residential treatment, as well as respite care. At Peel Childrens Centre, our philosophy centres around our clients - the children and youth who use our services. To fulfill our vision and mission, we do everything we can to meet the needs of the children, youth and families that we serve. We are always looking for new ways to make our services better. Western Australia’s Peel region is on the brink of exciting change. Over the next two decades it will welcome a dramatic wave of people attracted by the area’s abundant resources, picturesque environment and enviable lifestyle. This influx will establish Peel as one of the State’s biggest population centres, bring with it exciting new vibrancy and prosperity as well as challenges for the community. By 2050, Peel is expected to rival the South West as one of the most populated regions outside of Perth with a projected population of 444,000. This influx will bring with it exciting new vibrancy and prosperity as well as challenges for the community. The Peel Development Commission has embraced this challenge and has worked closely with more than 200 stakeholders to form a shared view of Peel’s future as a “Progressive, Prosperous and Dynamic Region”.

Port of Sheerness Limited are the Statutory and Competent Harbour Authority for the River Medway and Swale. Trading as Peel Ports Medway the port also operate the commercial facility of Sheerness and Chatham Docks.

Peel Senior Link, a non-profit charitable organization established in 1991, provides supports for daily living to seniors, to clients across 11 designated senior’s buildings and neighbourhoods, in the Region of Peel. Peel Senior Link maximizes independent living--helping seniors live with dignity, stability and safety. Peel Senior Link is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care through Ontario Health (Central), grants, and personal and corporate donations. Peel Senior Link services are client-directed, flexible and individualized. They coordinate personal care & home-making services, at no charge, for over 1,000 seniors in designated buildings in Mississauga and Brampton. Services include: Dressing, bathing and other personal care Meal preparation Cleaning Medication assistance/management Laundry Access to 24 hour emergency response Personal care & home-making services make it possible to provide support to seniors without taking away their independence and dignity.
