PEINER SMAG Lifting Technologies GmbH (PSLT) is a subsidiary of Salzgitter Maschinenbau AG (SMAG). SMAG is the holding company of a German engineering and manufacturing group, located in Salzgitter, which operates three business divisions: Lifting Equipment, Mining and Exploration as well as Industrial Systems, i.e. essentially mobile antenna masts and driver cabins. The company was founded in 1919. SMAG has mainly reached its leading market position through their well-known brand PEINER Grabs. The new subsidiary RAM SMAG Lifting Technologies Pte Ltd, headquartered in Singapore, manufactures the products under its well-established brand RAM Spreaders in Changshu (China).
