PSU Esports is the primary competitive gaming organization at Penn State. Created during Summer 2011, the group began as an ambitious set of League of Legends players brought together to participate in the Ivy League of Legends Beta Tournament. The mission of the Lunar Lion Team is to land a spacecraft on the moon while teaching students the multitude of skills. Through this, Penn State will create a foundation for space exploration and help further the private space industry. The launch and execution of Penn States spacecraft, The Lunar Lion, will be the culmination of a multi-year, interdisciplinary effort to complete the mission.
