ESAG Penninghen is a private establishment of higher education, accredited as such since 30 March 1953, registered at the French National Ministry of Education and Research. After 5 years of post-Baccalaureate studies, one of two European Master Level Degrees may be awarded: Degree in “Art Direction” , state-certified, qualification for careers in image-making, visual communication (graphic design, press, video, television, cinema), and 2D-3D interactive design. Degree in “Interior Architecture/Design” ,recognized by the CFAI (French Board of Interior Architects), state-certified Level II, qualification for careers in architecture, interior design, exhibition/display design, scenography, furniture design, digital design, and 3D design.

Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a campus of Louisiana State University, is a world-renowned leader at the forefront of medical discoveries as it relates to obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and dementia. Our mission is to improve human health throughout the lifespan. Today, our center houses almost 500 employees, 14 research laboratories, 17 core service laboratories, and a team of over 80 scientists and physicians. There are three NIH Centers of Excellence at Pennington Biomedical Research Center, the Center for Research on Botanicals and Metabolic Syndrome (BRC), the Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE), and the Nutrition and Obesity Research Center (NORC). Our scientists conduct basic, clinical, and population health research and are dedicated to solving the world-wide obesity epidemic by 2040.

The Pennington Biomedical Research Foundation provides the Pennington Biomedical Research Center with vital funding for nutrition-based research which aims to prevent premature death from chronic diseases. Through the Pennington Biomedical Research Foundation, gifts from individuals, foundations and businesses are imperative to fuel the groundbreaking work of the scientists and their world-renowned work. Gifts provide “bridge” funding to enhance promising new discoveries into a fast track process, providing Pennington Biomedical with a margin of excellence that keeps it among the elite research institutions worldwide.
