PEC continues to be on the leading edge of providing electrical services to its more than 15,000 members located in 11 south central Oklahoma counties. These services range from prepaid metering options to automatic outage notification to surge suppression (PowerShield) and rebate programs for improved customer efficiency plus various convenient ways for bill payment! In 2006, PEC rejoined the offices and warehouse/operation functions which are located at a 1700 North Country Club Road in Ada, Oklahoma. Today, PEC employs 68 full-time and 60 part-time employees to serve our membership!

People's Parking is an accreditation scheme for car parks. The scheme designed by Helen Dolphin MBE is primarily aimed at improving car parks for customers by enabling people to find a car park which meets their needs. In addition it aims to drive up standards in the parking industry as all car parks wishing to achieve People’s Parking accreditation must demonstrate that they have good signage and pedestrian routes, and are well lit, clean and actively managed. If a car park meets these basic criteria it is awarded the general accreditation. People’s Parking also highlights the car parks which have facilities for disabled people, parents with children, people who drive electric vehicles, those who drive light commercial vehicles/camper vans, and those who drive from wheelchair accessible vehicles. In addition the location of a car park is essential knowledge, and so car parks which are great for shopping and those which are situated at transport interchanges will be identified. In addition it can be helpful to know if pay-by-phone and a pre-book service are available, so these are also accredited by the scheme. Finally, People's Parking is not just about motorists, many cyclists struggle to find somewhere safe and secure to park their bicycles, so car parks that provide this service can be recognised too. Depending on which facilities are available the car park is awarded extra accreditation's.
