Petroleum Agency SA promotes exploration of onshore and offshore oil and gas resources and their optimal development on behalf of the South African government. The Agency regulates exploration and production activities, and acts as the custodian of the national petroleum exploration and production database.

PNGRB was constituted under The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Act, 2006 (NO. 19 OF 2006) notified via Gazette Notification dated 31st March, 2006. The Act provide for the establishment of Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board to protect the interests of consumers and entities engaged in specified activities relating to petroleum, petroleum products and natural gas and to promote competitive markets and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Further as enshrined in the act, the board has also been mandated to regulate the refining, processing, storage, transportation, distribution, marketing and sale of petroleum, petroleum products and natural gas excluding production of crude oil and natural gas so as and to ensure uninterrupted and adequate supply of petroleum, petroleum products and natural gas in all parts of the country.

The Petroleum Club of Houston is the consequence of a vision, vigorous effort and accomplishment. The vision was shared originally by Wilbur Ginther, Howard C. Warren and Harris Underwood. The effort was expended by a score of men and the accomplishment is one of the nation's finest, most attractive clubs, towering above Houston's busy commercial avenues. The inspiration for an exclusive, handsome club of and for men of the oil industry was crystallized on January 31, 1946, when the Petroleum Club’s charter was secured from the State of Texas. The Club’s original location was atop the Rice Hotel in downtown Houston. To meet the requirements of an increasing membership and the greater demands for its services, the Club moved into the 43rd and 44th floors of the ExxonMobil Building in 1963. In 2015, the Club began its next chapter on the 35th floor of 1201 Louisiana.

Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) is a registered society set up in 1978 under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India. As a non-profit organization, PCRA is a national government agency engaged in promoting energy efficiency in various sectors of economy. It helps the government in proposing policies and strategies for petroleum conservation, aimed at reducing excessive dependence of the country on oil requirement. Over the years, PCRA has enlarged its role in improving productivity in use of various sources of energy, for the purpose of achieving environment protection and sustainable development.

The Petroleum Equipment & Services Association (PESA) is the unified voice for the energy industrys services and equipment sector, advocating for and supporting the sectors achievements in job creation, technological innovation and economic stability. Founded in 1933 as the American Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association, our role was to assist the federal government in preparing a fair practice code for the oilfield equipment industry. With this objective accomplished, our charter members realized the value of keeping the organization intact as a trade association. For many years, PESA operated as the Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association before adopting its current name in 2014.
