University of Education Weingarten – Pädagogische Hochschule Die Pädagogische Hochschule Weingarten bietet eine forschungsbasierte und praxisorientierte Lehre sowie exzellente Forschung im Bereich Lehren und Lernen. Seit 2016 sind wir als familiengerechte Hochschule zertifiziert. Zukunftsorientierte Lehre und Beratung Seit 1962 bilden wir Lehrer für Grund- und Sekundarschulen aus. Unsere modernen Bachelor- und Masterstudiengänge umfassen neben Lehramt auch aktuelle gesellschaftliche Themen wie Bewegung & Ernährung, Elementarbildung und Medien- und Bildungsmanagement. Durch enge Betreuung und praxisorientierte Module begleiten wir unsere Studierenden zielgerichtet bis zum Abschluss. Forschung und Transfer Unsere vier Forschungszentren arbeiten interdisziplinär und tragen zur regionalen, nationalen und internationalen Bildungsforschung bei. Schwerpunkte liegen auf Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung, digitale Medien und Heterogenität. Besonders wichtig ist uns die Förderung des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses durch die Graduate School und das Promotionsrecht. Regionale Vernetzung und internationales Engagement Durch unser Institut für Bildungsconsulting führen wir regionale Beratungsprojekte und Community-Based Research durch, um Herausforderungen der Gesellschaft gemeinsam zu lösen. International sind wir durch zahlreiche Partnerschaften vernetzt, die den Austausch in Lehre und Forschung fördern und unseren Studierenden wertvolle Auslandserfahrungen ermöglichen. The Zurich University of Teacher Education (PH Zurich) is one of the largest educational institutions for teachers in Switzerland, with around 3800 students, 24'500 continuing education participants annually and around 900 employees. It provides training for teaching professions at all levels of education and conducts nationally and internationally networked research relevant to education, schools and teaching at the university location in Zurich.
