We’re Local, Just Like You Quadro Communications Co-operative Inc., was established in Nov 1994, after converting from the Blanshard Municipal Telephone System (established in 1924). Originally our service area was limited to the exchanges of Granton, Kirkton, Sebringville and Uniondale. In recent years, the Canadian Radio-Television Commission (CRTC) has approved our expansion into neighbouring communities like Lucan, Mitchell and St. Marys. Quadro is one of several independent telecom companies in Southwestern Ontario. A Co-operative is a different business model. Co-ops are democratic member-owned organizations that are responsible to their members, not external shareholders. While co-ops provide value to their members, a co-op’s primary responsibility, is to meet their members’ needs. We offer each customer a member share - one member, one vote. Power is shared equally among all members, rather than concentrated in the hands of a few. Members elect the Board of Directors and when necessary, vote on specific issues. Quadro is a full-service telecom that offers voice (phone and mobility - through Canada’s Largest LTE network); high speed internet (incl. Fibre); digital cable TV and Computer Repair and I.T Solutions to both residential and business customers.
