Road Safety Institute "Panos Mylonas"​ is a not-for-profit Organization based in Greece. It was established in 2005 following the tragic loss of 22 year-old Panos Mylonas, a university student and journalist of the automotive sector, in a car crash caused by a reckless driver. Founded with the support of academic institutions, bodies of the business sector and citizens, RSI aims to support and promote actions and research that advance road safety and traffic education, as well as design and implement initiatives targeting on the prevention and reduction of traffic accidents. Its vision is a world with no traffic accidents. Among its new members and supporters are included entities of the wider public sector, unions, organizations of public and private sector while the European Committee is among its associated partners. Road Safety Institute “Panos Mylonas” is a member of the European Transport Safety Council (ETSC).

The Road Safety Trust is a grant-giving charity committing to making UK roads safer, achieving impact through the funding of practical measures, research, dissemination and education. As of May 2021, we have funded 57 projects over 5 years of grant-giving to a total value of approximately £4m.
