RNLD is an award winning San Diego based lighting design firm, founded in 2001 by architectural lighting designer, Ron Neal. Since its inception, RNLD has successfully participated in the completion hundreds of commercial and residential projects. We encourage an open dialogue between the user and design team, establishing a creative atmosphere in which the design process is a true collaboration of cost, function, technical expertise and artistic sensibility. This concept allows us to produce innovative and appropriate architectural lighting design solutions for a wide range of projects. Our diverse experience makes us uniquely qualified to provide a full range of lighting design services. Our collective background includes professional, interior and architectural design, lighting manufacturers representative, electrical contracting, construction administration, project management and custom fixture design. We are committed to designing lighting systems that are sustainable and environmentally responsible. Several of our recently completed projects have received LEED certification.
