Rugby Afrique, anciennement nommé Confédération africaine de rugby (CAR), est une association qui regroupe les Nations Africaines pratiquant le rugby à XV et le rugby à VII. Il s'agit d'une des six associations régionales de World Rugby et elle organise notamment la Coupe d'Afrique de rugby, le CAR Trophy, Coupe d'Afrique de Division 2, le CAR Development Trophy et la Coupe d'Afrique de Division 3.

De rugbyclub van 's-Hertogenbosch sinds 1974. Naast de kernwaarden van rugby - respect, discipline, kameraadschap - een grote familie: Wij zijn The Dukes. Bij The Dukes spelen we zowel top- als breedtesport. Voor jong en oud. Met spelende en competitieve jeugd en twee academies ambiëren we op basis van onze eigen jeugd zowel aan de top te blijven. At RHS we provide students with a wide range of different experiences outside the classroom. Our school community is led by students who have others’ interests at heart and who give their own time to run a huge range of clubs and societies, listen to those with a problem or lend a helping hand with school work. Our school motto ‘Ascensiones in corde suo disposuit’ (She has set heights in her heart) is a living reality for our students who leave equipped with outstanding academic qualifications, and a well developed sense of not just who they are, but who (and what) they can be. The seed of modern-day rugby league in Ireland was sown when in 1989 the Dublin Blues were formed and founded by Brian Corrigan. They consisted mostly of rugby union players who wanted to stay fit over the summer. The Blues competed against touring teams from Britain and surprised many of the touring sides with the quality of their play, scoring many memorable victories over British amateur opposition. In early 1995 the British Rugby Football League development arm financed the position of a Development Officer for Ireland, providing a massive boost to the development of the game. In the same year Ireland formed its very first competitive team to play against the USA in Washington on St. Patrick's Day. Ireland won 24-22 with Wigan legend Joe Lydon coming on as a replacement. He had gone out there as a manager but was drafted in to play. Terry Flanagan, Huddersfield Coach and former Great Britain player and Niel Wood, Director of British Student Rugby League, coached the team..
