Siden 1979 har REMA 1000 jobbet for å kutte matprisene i Norge og tilby deg dagligvarer av høy kvalitet til laveste pris, produsert og solgt på en ansvarlig måte. Alle REMA 1000 sine butikker drives av selvstendige Kjøpmenn som brenner for å gi deg den beste butikkopplevelsen. Rene butikker, fulle hyller, lave priser og hyggelige ansatte møter deg når du velger å ta handleturen hos din REMA 1000-butikk. Like ofte ser du Kjøpmenn som gir tilbake til sine lokalmiljø. Være seg om det er å gi mat til det lokale fotballaget eller å tilby jobb til en som synes hverdagen er vanskelig. Det er ikke uten grunn at REMA-Kjøpmenn ofte blir omtalt som "lokale helter". Å ta vare på både mennesker og kloden er viktig for oss i REMA 1000. Miljø og samfunnsansvar står høyt i alt vi gjør - eller ikke gjør. Dette er bakgrunnen for at vi som første dagligvareaktør valgte å kutte bruken av palmeolje i egne matvarer, hjelper folk som faller utenfor inn i arbeidslivet, har dagligvarebransjens mest ambisiøse mål om plastkutt og byttet til en friskere og mer aktiv kyllingrase hos alle våre 150 trøndelagsbønder som leverer kylling til våre butikker i 2018. RE.MAC.UT. is a privately held company established on 1952 in Rivoli, near Turin, the capital of Italy's car industry. Its core business was the design, the production and the refurbishment of high precision machine tools and part handling systems for the all the major worldwide car and truck manufacturing companies. The experience accrued in the production of high precision equipment, together with extremely dynamic engineering research, was successfully transferred to the offshore technology on 1974: RE.MAC.UT was selected for the construction of one of the most advanced pipe lay barges in the world, the SAIPEM CASTORO SEI. RE.MAC.UT.'s experience successfully grew in the following years, with the study, the production and the development of new advanced machineries and subsea equipment. RE.MAC.UT today designes and manufactures deck and subsea equipment for the offshore oil and gas market: Tensioners for rigid and flexible pipes, Tensioners for umbilicals and power cables, Capstan and Storage Winches, Pipe handling equipments (rollers, transfer cars, elevators, line up station), Stinger rollers, Internal Line up Clamps with radio control, Controls, Control Systems, Refurbishment of Barge cranes, Subsea Tools. These can be applied to different pipe lay processes (shallow or deepwater, S-lay, J-lay, Reel lay or Flexible lay) and big range of pipes (4-72 OD, 6-48 m length). Equipments can be supplied with third party certification (ABS, DNV, Lloyd, Rina, etc...)

Part of the Manufacturing USA network of 16 advanced manufacturing institutes, REMADE is dedicated to accelerating the U.S.'s transition to a Circular Economy. Investments in renewables are critical, but they can only get us a little more than halfway - 55% - toward our nation's net-zero by 2050 goal. A Circular Economy approach to how we make and use things - how we manufacture and use everyday products - will make up the remaining 45%, getting us all the way to net-zero. REMADE is committed to meeting the nation's climate and industrial decarbonization goals by addressing manufacturing's impact on climate change. Today, manufacturing accounts for 25% of U.S. energy consumption at a cost of $150 billion. Industry is also the third-largest contributor to U.S. greenhouse gas emissions at 22%. Together with our partners, REMADE invests in early-stage R&D projects that reduce energy consumption, decrease greenhouse gas emissions, conserve resources, increase the supply and use of recycled materials, enhance the resiliency of the nation's supply chain, increase U.S. manufacturing competitiveness, and create clean economy jobs. The technologies that REMADE develops increase the reuse, remanufacturing, recovery and recycling of four "hard-to-abate" materials: metals, plastics/polymers, fibers/paper, and e-waste.
