Flexible Electrical Networks (FEN) Research Campus is an association of institutes of the RWTH Aachen University and of industrial partners from different departments and topics. The aim of FEN Research Campus is to investigate and to develop innovative technologies for future electrical grids with a high share of fluctuating and decentralized renewable energy sources. In this way, FEN makes an important contribution to a sustainable, reliable and affordable energy supply in the future. The transdisciplinary research of FEN Research Campus focuses on the integration and development of direct current (DC) technology in five research fields: Grids and Systems, Digitalization, Components and Socio-Economic Factors. The research activities are located amid the RWTH Aachen Campus Melaten. The University of Tokyo is Japan's premier institution of higher education and research. The Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology (RCAST) is one of several research and graduate-level education institutes within the University of Tokyo. RCAST is the main research and teaching base for about 40 full and associate level professors in the University, along with junior faculty, graduate students and faculty on special or time-limited appointments. These researchers represent a range of science, engineering and medical disciplines, in addition to somewhat smaller numbers in economics, finance, intellectual property and other disciplines. This is in keeping with RCAST's mission to be a center for interdisciplinary research which is open to collaborations with industry and other organizations. Several of the special areas of research strength at RCAST include photovoltaics (solar energy), systems biology, and barrier free technologies to help persons with disabilities.

RCMT is a highly professional research and educational institution, which uses its state-of-the-art equipment to provide services to the industry of cutting and forming machines. RCMT is the main research base for manufacturing technology in the Czech Republic. Cooperation with the industry is among PME & RCMTs core activities. LLC Research Center of Payment Systems and Settlements (www.paysyscenter.com) is the company, the largest in Russia, in the sphere of carrying out researches, the analysis and promoting of mobile payments, electronic money, payment service providers and other services for banks and participants of the payment market of the Russian Federation. The documents developed by us conform to requirements of normative legal acts of the Bank of Russia and the legislation in this sphere.

The Research Complex at Harwell (RCaH) is a science-led national resource with a mission to enable and add value to outstanding new science that benefits, and benefits from, the UK’s Central Facilities. We have a mix of research hubs, individual groups and facilities that fall within the physical, life and laser sciences. About 180 researchers are based here, and we have more than 500 visitors per year. Our priorities are Energy Materials, Advanced Manufacturing, Catalysis, Structural Biology of infectious disease and a cross cutting Correlative and Integrated Imaging theme (with a time domain focus). Engagement with industry is central to delivering our mission and we will continue to develop partnerships with industry. RCaH is part research incubator (the ‘hotel’ model), where university-based scientists apply for grants that they elect to hold at RCaH. Two stakeholders, Science & Technology Facilities Council and Diamond Light Source, strategically allocate their own space. RCaH also help facilitate industrial collaborations and can provide access to high quality equipment. We are conveniently located next to the Diamond Light Source (DLS), the UK Neutron Source (ISIS), the Central Laser Facility (CLF) , Rosalind Franklin Institute and the electron microscopy centre.

RCSA is a private operating foundation that aids basic research in the physical sciences (astronomy, chemistry, physics, and related fields) at colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada. It supports research independently proposed by college and university faculty members, convenes conferences and actively advocates for science advancement. RCSA is a strong supporter of improvements in science education. Mission Statement: RCSA is a foundation for the advancement of science that provides catalytic and opportunistic funding for innovative scientific research and the development of academic scientists, which will have a lasting impact on science and society.
