La División de Carreteras de JRS IBérica distribuye y comercializa la gama de productos Viatop. Viatop son gránulos de fibra de celulosa recubierta de betún para la fabricación de mezclas bituminosas de altas prestaciones. Las fibras de celulosa se vienen utilizando en la fabricación de mezclas tipo Stone Mastic Asphalt desde hace más de 40 años. Hoy en día se emplean también para la producción de mezclas tipo BBTM y de tipo PA. Incluso a veces puede recurrirse a su empleo en mezclas tipo AC cuando se quieren mejorar ciertas prestaciones. El cometido principal de los aditivos Viatop es contribuir a estabilizar grandes contenidos de ligante y a garantizar un reparto homogéneo del mástico sobre la superficie de los áridos. De esta manera, se consiguen mezclas más flexibles, con una alta resistencia a la fatiga y a la propagación de fisuras y con una durabilidad excepcional. Según el estudio Long Lasting Pavements, realizado por la European Asphalt Pavement Association, la vida útil media de las SMA en Europa es de 20 años, mientras que para las mezclas Ac es de 14 años y para las BBTM de tan sólo 10.
