İttifak Holding’in ilk iştiraki olan Selva Gıda, 1988 yılında ilk olarak un üretimi ile gıda sektörüne girmiştir. İlerleyen yıllarda irmik ve makarna üretimine de başlayarak günümüzde sağlıklı yaşama hizmet eden fonksiyonel ürün gruplarıyla birlikte 15 kategoride 180’in üzerinde ürün çeşitliliğine ulaşmıştır. Selva Gıda, 34.561 metrekare alan üzerinde 16.382 metrekare kapalı alana sahip tesislerinde günlük 125 ton un, 340 ton irmik, 210 ton makarna üretim kapasitesi ve 10.000 metrekare modern nihai ürün depolama alanı ile faaliyetlerini yürütmektedir. Dünyanın her yerine aynı lezzet aynı kalite anlayışıyla 5 kıtada 60'dan fazla ülkeye ihracat yapan Selva Gıda, Türkiye’de 22 üreticinin bulunduğu makarna sektöründe ilk 7 içerisinde yer almaktadır ve yüzlerce ulusal-yerel üreticinin olduğu paket un sektöründe ise 10 büyük markadan biridir. Uluslararası platformlarda kalite ve lezzeti tescillenen Selva, merkezi Brüksel’de bulunan Uluslararası Tat Enstitüsü (ITI) tarafından, gıda alanında tat ve kalite konusunda en önemli ödüllerden biri olarak kabul edilen ‘Superior Taste Award-Lezzet Ödülü’ne 2022 yılında 8. kez layık görülmüştür. International Taste Institute tarafından marka ismi gizlenerek ve menşei bilinmeden 200’den fazla bağımsız şef ve tadım uzmanları tarafından yapılan kör tadım testleriyle ürünler; ilk izlenim, renk, koku kontrolünün ardından, tadım sonrası ağızda bıraktığı tat, lezzet ve bununla birlikte ürünün dokusu dikkate alınarak yapılan derecelendirmede Selva, toplamda 8 yıldır %90 üzeri puan ve 3 yıldız alarak dünyanın Diamond Ödüllü makarnası olma unvanını sürdürdü. Selva Gıda, Nisan 2021 yılından bu yana SELVA kodu ile Borsa İstanbul’da işlem görmektedir.

Selvam College of Technology is supported by V.Ponnusamy Educational and Charitable Trust. Dr.P.Selvaraj a veteran poultry scientist is the Managing Trustee of the trust. He is pioneer in the Poultry Industry and responsible for putting Namakkal in the Poultry Map of India. To help the rural communities he started many Educational Institutions. In this background he started this Engineering College with a Motto of producing self confident world class engineers. Our college is established in the year of 2006, is one of the eleven educational institutions nurtured by V. Ponnusamy educational and charitable Trust which is founded by Dr.P.Selvaraj, Chairman of the trust.
