Sheis.com is a is website created by women, for women. It is a single-source information site for women’s health issues, entertainment, inspiration, and more. Sheis.com is the idea of Jaelin Stickels who is a Mother, Certified Nurse Midwife, and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Jaelin’s career calls for a lot of reading and research regarding the latest in women’s health issues. She is passionate in her field and is constantly sharing interesting topics and engaging in discussion with friends, family, and clients. Wanting to reach more people, Jaelin decided that she needed a better way of sharing. Jaelin wanted to create a “community” of women who could share information, experiences, and thoughts on important women’s issues, and uplift one another along the way. Thus, “She is…” was born. On this site, we have a team of dedicated women that set out to find the best stories on the web that cover all types of women’s issues and interests. We want to foster a community of positivity and togetherness for all women and we are sure to keep that in mind when we are selecting news topics for review and discussion. We are so happy to present you with this site; a single-source news platform for all women. We want to empower women through information, sharing, and a sense of community. We are currently an independent campaign organisation with plans to become a registered NPO in the near future. At the moment, we are working with existing charities, helping to promote their cause. Currently we are partnering with Emasithandane, a children’s shelter located in Nyanga, Western Cape, South Africa.
