Founded in 1967, Sheridan has grown from a local college of 400 students to one of Ontario’s leading postsecondary institutions, educating approximately 18,000 full-time and 35,000 continuing and part-time studies students every year on four campuses in three Ontario cities – Oakville, Brampton, and Mississauga. Sheridan Institute of Higher Education is an independent community of Christian scholars in the Perth CBD engaged in specialised teaching and research. The College opened in January 2015 and now offers undergraduate programs in business, science, and the humanities and social sciences, in addition to postgraduate courses in business administration and education. Sheridan is a not-for-profit provider of higher education, and welcomes students from all faiths or none to complete their chosen degree in collaboration with the academic faculty.

Sheridan Medical Group (SMG) is a Primary Care group that provides care to patients of all ages. SMG has been applying integrative, interdisciplinary principles of care for 14 years. The team at SMG follows an evidence-based, research-driven approach and has attained a level-3 status as a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH). The five fundamental components of health and well-being for all people are: diet, fitness/ movement, sleep, psycho-social-emotional and pharmacology. These are all addressed with the guidance of the seasoned physicians at Sheridan Medical Group in partnership with their patients.
