Shine Cambodia Incorporated is a non-for-profit charity, based in Otres, providing children and their families with poverty relief and free education. In rural Cambodia, a large number of families simply cannot afford to send their children to school and they are often left to roam the streets, sent to work on the land, collecting plastic from the beach and rubbish sites, or at home helping to raise their siblings. Shine Cambodia provides free education, from ages 5 to 16, and social support to the community, ensuring that when the children leave school they have career options to give their families a better life. An opportunity many of us take for granted. We offer a range of programs and services: educational support, family housing support, social care, and health and wellbeing support. Each child that grows up to succeed will become living proof that the future can be different to the past.

We support anyone in our age group, with any type of cancer. Our vision is that every adult in the UK diagnosed with cancer in their 20s, 30s or 40s can access the help and support that they need in a way that suits their lifestyle, and that they are a part of a confident, supportive and empowered community of young adults living with cancer. Our mission is to provide tailored information and peer support for anyone in their 20s, 30s or 40s diagnosed with any cancer. We do this through a range of activities including lunches and drinks evenings, beach walks, multi-day getaways, workshops, online networking, and mentoring.
