Mitte 2016 an den Start gegangen, konnten wir innerhalb weniger Jahre eine Abdeckung von knapp 90 Prozent in der Fläche und 86 Prozent in Bezug auf die Bevölkerung erreichen und damit maßgeblich zu einer vollen europäischen Abdeckung beitragen (Stand Dez. 2020). Seit Herbst 2020 ist die Sigfox Germany GmbH eine Tochtergesellschaft der Heliot Europe GmbH. Diese betreibt in den Ländern Österreich, Deutschland, Schweiz und Slowenien mit mehr als 3700 Funkstationen das größte 0G Sigfox-Netzwerk in Europa.
