Veřejná vysoká škola, která dává učení smysl. Slezská univerzita sídlí v Opavě a Karviné, ale naše myšlenky nejsou místem limitovány. Slezská univerzita v Opavě vznikla po listopadu 1989 nejprve jako dvě fakulty Masarykovy univerzity v Brně, následně Zákonem České národní rady z 9. července 1991 pak z těchto dvou fakult vznikla Slezská univerzita se sídlem v Opavě. Tato veřejná vysoká škola má v současné době pět součástí: Filozoficko-přírodovědeckou fakultu v Opavě, Obchodně podnikatelskou fakultu v Karviné, Fakultu veřejných politik v Opavě, Matematický ústav v Opavě a Fyzikální ústav v Opavě. Přestože Slezská univerzita v Opavě patří se svými 6 000 studenty mezi menší české vysoké školy, pro akademický rok 2022/2023 nabízí přes 90 oborů a specializací studijních programů všech forem a typů, z nichž některé je možné realizovat až na doktorském stupni studia nebo v anglickém jazyce. Univerzita také nabízí desítky kurzů v rámci celoživotního vzdělávání a Univerzity třetího věku. Slezská univerzita v Opavě je členem European University Association, udržuje kontakty s řadou zahraničních univerzit a intenzivně spolupracuje s nejbližšími vysokými školami zejména v polském Slezsku. Současným rektorem je doc. Mgr. Tomáš Gongol, Ph.D., který se funkce ujal v březnu 2023.

Mrs Bela Agarwal is the Co-Founder and Whole-time Director of Silgo Retail Limited. In her capacity as Whole-Time Director she fine-tunes the business ideas put forth by the Office of the Managing Director.In her storied, distinguished career she has won many laurels. Her artistic prowess has been attested by JJS - IJ Jewelers’ Choice Design Awards 2015, National Jewelry Awards 2016, Zee Marudhara Women Empowerment Awards 2015, to name only a few. She is an active member of FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO), Jaipur.
