Authors’ Rights Management for Stage and Audiovisual Works SSA is a cooperative society of authors in the dramatic, dramatico-musical, choreographic, audiovisual and multimedia sectors. It protects its members' economic rights subject to copyright in Switzerland and Liechtenstein and ensures that their moral rights are respected accordingly. It liaises between users and authors and offers support in situations requiring individual contracts. It sees to contracts being entered into in a legitimate and fair manner. SSA manages performing rights, broadcasting rights, other public performance rights as well as reproduction rights assigned to it by its authors. It also fulfils the duties assigned by law to collective management organisations under the scope of the so-called mandatory collective management. It is the main task of SSA to collect the remuneration which becomes due each time its members' works are used and to subsequently forward them to the rights owners. Moreover, SSA also promotes its members' interests in all areas which are relevant from a work usage aspect, and is represented in the relevant national and international organisations.
SARD is a non-profit organization aimed at increasing the participation of minorities and disadvantaged communities in mainstream development processes. Sard’s goal is to empower these groups, particularly women and adolescent girls, by improving their access to quality education and health services; providing vocational training; introducing micro-credit schemes; and promoting environmentally sustainable income generating activities. Sard’s thrust is to build the organizational and leadership capacities of its stakeholders. SARD takes a holistic and integrated approach to development that favours the sustainability of its programs by providing people access to tools, training and structures they need.

The Society for Biological Engineering is an international scientific organization under the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Technological Community. SBE consists of engineers and scientists committed in developing the integration of biology and engineering. SBE Universitas Indonesia Student Chapter is the second SBE Student Chapter established in Asia and the first in South East Asia. Since 2011, SBE UI SC has been enhancing the esoteric culture of biotechnological engineering in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia.
The organization started by, Babak Kateb, out of the collaboration between NASA/JPL-USC-Keck School of Medicine and Caltech through an initial summit at NASA/JPL attended by nearly by 15 scientists from those institutions back in 2003. The summit was co-organized by Wolfgang Fink (NASA/JPL), John George (NASA/JPL) and Babak Kateb (USC-Keck School). Thus, the official color of the organization is Maroon and Gold. This initial think-tanks summit gradually grew overtime to a larger think-tank international convention. in 2004, Babak Kateb (the founder), Farzad Massoudi and Warren Grundfest filled the necessary legal and tax paperwork with the US IRS and obtained approval from IRS for a 501c6 Non-Profit multidisciplinary and multi-specialty (engineers, scientists, physicians, surgeons and policymakers as well as healthcare executives) biomedical association. The Society for Brain Mapping & Therapeutics (SBMT) was founded in 2004 to break boundaries in healthcare. The society promotes policies that support rapid, safe, and cost-effective translation of new technology into medicine. SBMT played a significant role in the formulation, planning and execution of Obama's BRAIN Initiative and in 2013 pioneered the G20+ World Brain Mapping & Therapeutic Initiative, which is aimed at creating a global consortium focusing on integration of nanotechnology, imaging, cellular/stem cell therapeutics, Information Technology (IT) and devices (this approach called NanoBioElectronics) in Brain Mapping.

The Society for Commercial Archeology focuses attention on efforts to save North America’s most endangered roadside places. All along the nation’s highways and byways there are reminders of the heyday of the American roadside. From filling stations, to tourist courts, to bridges, parks, and diners, these roadside icons are survivors from a time when the American road trip was truly a journey of adventure and discovery. Through our website, Facebook page and email newsletter, The Society for Commercial Archeology is working to call attention to the potential loss of these national treasures, and help coordinate action to protect the most vulnerable properties. -- We Research and Share the Often Quite Poignant Stories Historic Signs and Structures Tell The Society for Commercial Archeology publishes the SCA Journal, SCA Road Notes, our printed newsletter, and the SCA Roadside Roundup, our e-newsletter.
