The Society of Professional Data Managers is a not-for-profit and a member-driven professional society, providing data managers in the Energy sector the means to grow their careers and competencies through professional development, community events and meetings. This LinkedIn group is open to anyone who is interested in the SPDM.

STLHE strives to be the pre-eminent national voice, and a world leader, for enhancing teaching and learning in higher education. The Society supports research, its dissemination, increased awareness, and application of research through scholarly teaching and learning. There are a number of ongoing strategic initiatives including the development of a meaningful commitment to bilingualism; increasing student awareness, engagement and participation; expanding our award programs to recognize special interest groups and other talents of teachers and students; strengthening our relationship with senior administrators and in particular Universities Canada, and Colleges and Institutes Canada. The STLHE vision and strategies are enabled by a number of goals articulated below: -to support and advance teaching and learning in higher education; -to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and networking opportunities; -to provide opportunities for professional development; -to facilitate and disseminate research on teaching and learning; -to recognize and reward contributions to teaching excellence, educational leadership, innovation, service and mentorship in higher education; -to collaborate with like-minded teacher and student groups and organizations in Canada and abroad; -to shape, influence and lead policy decisions that enhance teaching and learning in higher education at local, national and international levels; -to carry out the work of the Society in Canada’s two official languages; -to actively engage student participation in all aspects of the Society’s work.

PHD (Preservation of Human Dignity) is a counseling center for maternal health and well-being. PHD offers comprehensive clinical counseling, case management, education and baby closet services to women who are pregnant, and women and men parenting a child under age three. PHD’s Educational Outreach programs promote parent/youth communication through education on successful relationships, healthy sexuality and anti-bullying.

Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide (SPTS) is dedicated to increasing awareness, saving lives and reducing the stigma of suicide through specialized training programs and mental health resources that empower students, parents, school staff and community members with the skills needed to help youth build a life of resiliency.

Society for Treatment of Autism (STA) is an Alberta-based registered charitable organization providing comprehensive treatment and educational services for people with autism and related disorders. STA offers quality support, consultation and educational services for families and communities in Alberta.
