GSSM is a two-year, public, residential high school in Hartsville, SC, specializing in the advanced study of science and mathematics. In the past 30 years, GSSM has graduated 2,009 alumni from every county in South Carolina, many of whom are now leaders in such critical fields as engineering, medicine, law and business. In addition to the School’s flagship residential program, GSSM has grown significantly to include widespread outreach and virtual components.

The South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities is a public residential high school for emerging artists. The school gives artistically talented high school students from across the state the opportunity to study their art in a supportive environment of artistic and academic excellence. Arts concentrations include Creative Writing, Dance, Drama, Film, Music and Visual Arts. The nine-month residential high school is modeled after a master-apprentice community with an arts faculty who are all practicing artists, as well as educators in their areas of expertise. In addition to rigorous pre-professional arts training, students receive an intense and innovative academic education that fosters connections to the arts while meeting all the requirements necessary for a South Carolina high school diploma. Students apply and audition to attend the school. There is no tuition to attend, although there are minimal processing and meal plan fees. Life at the Governor's School is a constant collaboration. Emerging artists from different backgrounds and all five art areas work together, learn from one another, and grow to form bonds that last long past graduation.

South Carolina Hospital Association is a private, not-for-profit organization made up of some 100 member hospitals and health systems and about 900 personal members associated with our institutional members. The South Carolina Hospital Association was created in 1921 to serve as the collective voice of the state’s hospital community. South Carolina Judicial Branch

State law enforcement agency for South Carolina responsible for: (1) the investigation of organized criminal activities or combined state-federal interstate criminal activities, all general criminal investigations, arson investigation and emergency event management pertaining to explosive devices; (2) the maintenance and operation of a statewide comprehensive forensic sciences laboratory; (3) covert investigation of illegal activities pertaining to and the interdiction of narcotics and other illicit substances; (4) operation and maintenance of a central, statewide criminal justice data base and data communication system; (5) establishment and operation of highly specialized, tactical response law enforcement units within the division; (6) operation and regulation of state polygraph examination services; (7) law enforcement, regulation enforcement, and inspections under Title 61; (8) the coordination of counter terrorism efforts, including prevention against, preparation for, response to, and crisis management of acts of terrorism, in or affecting this State; coordination of federal grants associated with homeland security; creation of councils appropriate to its mission; and service as the Governor's representative to the United States Department of Homeland Security; and (9) other activities not inconsistent with the mission of the division or otherwise proscribed by law.
