From corn dogs and blue-ribbon roses to roller coasters and prize-winning pigs, the South Carolina State Fair is best known for bringing 12 days of exhibits, competitions, food, midway rides and entertainment to Columbia each October. The charitable organization, though, operates year-round. With six exhibit halls and 104 acres adjacent to the University of South Carolina’s Williams-Brice Stadium, the South Carolina State Fair offers football parking and is a popular venue for major events such as home and garden shows, civic functions and charitable fundraisers. The South Carolina State Fair, a self-supporting 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, was organized in 1869 and is dedicated to preserving and promoting South Carolina’s agricultural roots while supporting statewide education. The South Carolina State Fair has awarded more than $5 million in scholarships since 1997. The South Carolina State Fair brand has always been associated with highlighting the best of our state.

The South Carolina Trucking Association is a nonprofit trade organization that represents all the various parties constituting South Carolina's vibrant trucking industry. Our mission is to advocate, educate and collaborate for successful trucking operations in SC. The association was first formed in the 1930s when truck operators found it necessary to do collectively what they could not do individually. Since its inception, the SCTA has been dedicated to the protection, support, and enrichment of its collective membership, while promoting good public policy.

The South Carolina Virtual Charter School (SCVCS) is a virtual, tuition-free public school chartered by the South Carolina Public Charter School District in 2008. SCVCS uses the K12curriculum and patented online learning program. Together, SCVCS and K12offer a competitive, individualized kindergarten through twelfth grade school program. The student can take individual courses not available in his or her own school or home district. The South Carolina Youth Advocate Program (SCYAP) is South Carolina’s premier provider of foster care and community-based services. We are a private, non-profit, 501(c)3 child-placing and family-serving organization. SCYAP has served children and families in South Carolina since 1990. SCYAP programs promote individualized treatment, flexible programming, case and cause advocacy, community-based services, and a positive approach to treating children and working with families. We have a comprehensive array of programs and services to children and families dealing with serious emotional, behavioral, psychological and/or development issues.
