Southern Star is a leading transporter of natural gas to Americas heartland, with about 5,800 miles of natural gas transmission pipeline in the Midwest and Mid-Continent regions of the U.S. Our pipeline system, facilities and employees are located in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska and Texas, with our headquarters in Owensboro, KY. Southern States University is a private institution that is approved to operate by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) and is licensed in the state of Nevada by the Commission on Postsecondary Education (CPE). Approval to operate means compliance with state standards as set forth in the law for licensed educational institutions. Southern States University is authorized by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) program to enroll international students (F1) in the USA. For many years, Southern States University has attracted international students to come and study at our campuses in California and Nevada. We are proud of having international students (F1) from all over the world. OPT is available for all programs. CPT is available for all degree programs.
