Southwest Christian Care is a ministry dedicated to providing the highest-quality care and support for terminally ill patients, children with special needs, seniors and their families in the name of Jesus Christ. Southwest Christian Care is more than a care facility. It's more like a home away from home - a place full of friendly, caring faces where the environment is alive with laughter, hugs, and sometimes, tears. It's a place where our patients and their family members can find inner peace and be strengthened and supported. Southwest Christian School (SCS) is an independent, interdenominational, Christian preparatory school. SCS is a unique setting that is rich in history and tradition. Since 1969, families have worked together to build a school community that offers opportunities in a Christ-centered environment. SCS offers classes in the divisions of early childhood, Elementary School (K-Grade 6), Middle School (Grades 7-8), and High School (Grades 9-12).

Fifty percent of SCA victims have no prior indication of heart disease and more than nine out of ten die before reaching the hospital. The likelihood of survival from sudden cardiac arrest decreases by 7-10 percent for every minute that effective care is delayed.
