Sport Australia is the brand name of the Australian Sport Commission, a Commonwealth entity within the Australian Government’s Department of Health portfolio, and incorporating high performance leader the AIS. It was established in 1985 and is governed by a board of commissioners appointed by the Australian Government with the board determining Sport Australia's overall direction, detailed allocation of resources and policy for delegated decisions. Sport Australia is accountable to the Minister of Sport and to Parliament. Sport Australia is administered from Canberra at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Bruce campus. Other AIS operations are located in various capital cities around Australia, as well as the Gold Coast and Varese in Italy. Sport Australia also manages Sporting Schools https://sportingschools.gov.au which is is Australia’s largest school-based participation program to help children foster a lifelong interest in sport.

Sport Calgary assists, supports, and influences the growth of amateur sport in Calgary. As an advocate of sport in Calgary we: - Play a lead role in the implementation of the Calgary Civic Sport Policy, and ensure it continues to create a vision for sport in Calgary from introductory to high-performance levels. - Continually identify and assess the needs of the sport community and facility stakeholders. - Encourage development and enhancement of appropriate facilities and the efficient utilization of current facilities. - Foster collaboration within the sport community and coordination of resources amongst stakeholders to develop and enhance facilities. - Increase the profile of sport in Calgary, and advocate the values and benefits of sport. - Facilitate education and training opportunities for athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, parents and volunteers. - Act as a resource for sport organizations. - Encourage the hosting of sport events and sport tourism in Calgary.

O Sport Club do Recife nasceu em 13 de Maio de 1905, quando o pernambucano Guilherme de Aquino Fonseca - voltando de uma temporada de estudos na Inglaterra e já encantado pelo esporte bretão - fundou, na companhia de alguns seguidores, aquele que viria a tornar-se o maior clube do Norte-Nordeste do Brasil, seja em relação a patrimônio, estrutura, conquistas, glórias, títulos e uma imensa e fiel torcida. A sede do Sport Club do Recife fica localizada na Praça da Bandeira, no bairro da Ilha do Retiro, no Recife. A grande estrutura abriga quadras de tênis, basquete, vôlei, handebol, hóquei e vários outros esportes. Conta também com um grandioso parque aquático, além de um centro de treinamento de futebol e a casa de todos os rubro-negros: o estádio Adelmar da Costa Carvalho, carinhosamente chamado de Ilha do Retiro.
