Sprekenhus is a Norwegian body care and fragrance brand created by Alexander Eggum in 2010. The name Sprekenhus originates from Alexander´s grandfather, born in the ancient landscape of Vega, an archipelago in Norway and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Alexander translated the family stories and legacy into products and fragrances made of natural ingredients. Sprekenhus believe that through creativity, authenticity, personality and experience, we can develop timeless products, both emotional and inspirational to people and their lives.

Sprell åpnet sin første butikk på Majorstua i 1995 med fokus på produkter av naturmaterialer, god design og kvalitet. Den gang var det nesten umulig å få tak i en god treleke i norske leketøysbutikker. Heldigvis har det skjedd en del siden den gang, og i Sprellbutikkene og i nettbutikken vår finner du i dag trygge kvalitetsleker, babyutstyr og interiør til barn fra kjente kvalitetsmerker. Sprell tilbyr et mangfold av kvalitetsprodukter til barn og leker av høy kvalitet som stimulerer barnets utvikling. Sprell har gått fra å være en gründerbutikk til å bli en kjedesuksess og er i dag 23 butikker i Norge og 1 butikk i Täby, Sverige. Nettbutikk med god lønnsomhet i Norge og i desember 2023 åpnet vi også sprell.se. Hovedkontoret ligger i trivelige lokaler i Grini næringspark på Østerås.
