The St. Lawrence Parks Commission is an agency of the Ontario Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries and has become one of the largest tourism destinations in Eastern Ontario. Over 1.7 million visitors annually are attracted to the Parks of the St. Lawrence, which extends from the Bay of Quinte on Lake Ontario in the west, along the St. Lawrence River to the Quebec border in the east. Operations include: two major historic attractions Fort Henry and Upper Canada Village, a series of 12 riverside parks and campgrounds, recreational facilities, the Long Sault Parkway, the 1000 Islands Parkway, the Waterfront Trail, Crysler Park Marina, Skywood Eco Adventure, championship Upper Canada Golf Course, Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary, and several restaurants and gift stores.

The St. Louis Area Foodbank is the bi-state region’s largest non-profit 501(c)(3) food distribution center dedicated to feeding those in need. Through our network of more than 500 partner agencies, we distributed over 42 million pounds of food in 2016. Thanks to the generous support from our donors and volunteers, we provide food assistance to more than 57,000 individuals each week in 26 counties in Eastern Missouri and Southwestern Illinois. The St. Louis Area Foodbank is a proud member of both the United Way and Feeding America – a nationwide network of over 200 food banks.
St. Louis ArtWorks was founded in 1995 as a collaborative partnership with Grand Center Inc., the City of St. Louis, and the Regional Arts Commission. Since that time, ArtWorks has provided apprenticeship opportunities for thousands of young people, successfully helping to prepare them for future education and employment opportunities. ArtWorks bridges economic, racial and social divisions by providing underserved youth with arts education, workforce development training, and 21st century life skills, including fiscal literacy and professional communication. In 2015, ArtWorks celebrated 20 years of creating opportunities for St. Louis youth with a move to a new, larger space at 5959 Delmar in the Loop East. Our new building includes traditional and digital art studios, a pollinator patio, and a MakerSpace. St. Louis ArtWorks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
