St. Margarets House is a unique charity supporting creativity & wellbeing in East London since 1889. Our mission is to promote positive social change by creating opportunities for people to come together and play a more active part in their community. We are now a family of more than 160 employees, volunteers, and collaborators- people from all over the world who share the same desire to be useful to the community and make a difference, however big or small. VEGAN FOOD & DRINKS >> We're committed to making delicious food that proves that a vegan diet doesn't mean missing out on your favourite dishes. Gallery Café has many locally-sourced options as well as a choice of drinks and baked goodies . WELLBEING CLASSES & WORKSHOPS >> Yoganest , our cosy studio provides our range of low-cost yoga, pilates, fitness, and dance classes . SUSTAINABLE SHOPPING >> Shop till you drop at Ayoka Charity Shop, our very own secondhand boutique, stacked to the brim with beautiful high street, vintage and designer treasures. LOW-COST OFFICE SPACE & ROOM HIRE >> We are home to more than 25 different community organisations and charities . We offer room hire facilities at low rates, as well as subsidised office spaces for rent. MONTHLY EXHIBITION >> On the first Thursday of every month, the Gallery Cafe opens its doors late for a chance to see art after hours. BOOK CLUB >> Established in 2010, our club offers space to explore the pleasure and complexity of modern and contemporary fiction free of charge as part of a group of curious readers.

St. Marie’s Hospice has been serving diligently servicing as the Detroit tri- county area as a full service hospice for more than a decade. With deep roots in the Detroit community, our professional staff of physicians, registered nurses, LPNs, certified nursing assistants, social workers, musical therapists and chaplains are experts in end-of-life care, offering family and caregiver support, non-medical therapies and bereavement services. We care for our patients wherever they reside. Our compassionate and generous volunteers offer companionship and support. Since we first began offering services to the community, we have specially trained our volunteers in hospice care. Our staff and volunteers alike approach each patient and family with the values we all hold dear – respect, dignity and a celebration of life. Our philosophy has always been to help patients remain independent for as long as possible. Our caregivers engage the patient and family to develop an individualized plan of care, with the Hospice team by the patient’s side for guidance, support and treatment. Most of our patients receive hospice benefits under Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance. As a non-profit hospice, we have always cared for any patient who needs and wants our services; it is at the core of who we are. All patients who are eligible for hospice services may receive care from St. Marie’s Hospice.

We are an historic downtown Episcopal church located in San Antonio, TX. Born in 1858 through the efforts of a handful of citizens and soldiers in a rowdy frontier outpost, the first members of St. Mark’s sought the highest standards as they struggled to complete a house of worship designed, improbably, by the nation’s top church architect. From the earliest days the rectors reflected a strong spirit of devotion and reasoned tolerance that nourished prosperity in good times and resilience in years of hardship. By the time of its centennial, St. Mark's was recognized as “one of America's great parishes.” St. Mark’s has continued onward, proclaiming the Gospel, celebrating its sesquicentennial in 2008 and reaching new heights as members minister to each other, their community, the nation and the world.

The mission of St. Mark's Lutheran Church is to share God's love, welcome others into his church, and grow to become like Jesus. Growth for Christians is a lot like tending to a plant: we water it, make sure it gets sunlight, till the soil, weed it, but ultimately only God can cause the growth to take place. As Christians there are a number of ways we can nourish and till the soil of our hearts for growth to take place, and the Holy Spirit uses those disciplines to cause us to grow.
