Statistics Sweden is responsible for official statistics and for other government statistics. This means that we develop, produce and disseminate the statistics. In addition, we coordinate the system for the official statistics in Sweden. We also conduct long-term cooperation projects with statistical offices in developing countries, which are financed by Sida. An extensive amount of Statistics Sweden's operations are directly influenced by international statistics cooperation. The greater part of cooperation occurs within the frame for the EU, the OECD, the UN and the Nordic countries. Statistics Sweden is located in Stockholm and Örebro, and has about 1300 employees, of whom roughly 100 are field interviewers.

We reflect the situation and changes in the society and offer information important for demographic, social, economic, and environmental development of Estonia. The data collected by Statistics Estonia are necessary for making development plans and projections, for policy planning, scientific and applied research, and for making informed decisions. We work closely with a wide range of institutions, such as Eurostat (the statistical office of the European Union), the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the OECD, Eesti Pank (central bank of Estonia), the University of Tartu, ministries, and local authorities. Respondents are also our important partners. Statistics Estonia is a part of the EU statistical system, contributing to the development of international statistics.

Croatian Bureau of Statistics (Državni zavod za statistiku Republike Hrvatske) is a state administrative organization, central authority, principal producer, disseminator and coordinator of the official statistics system of the Republic of Croatia, acting independently and in line with the Official Statistics Act (Official Gazette No 103/03) and the Act on Amendments to the Official Statistics Act (Official Gazette No 75/09; 59/12) and other positive regulations of the Republic of Croatia. One of the CBS'​ responsibilities is the effective and timely preparation and dissemination of high-quality statistical indicators, which influence economic and social phenomena and processes, and which provide for their users reliable sources for decision making and shaping their attitudes according to the given facts.
