Stentec Software is situated in Heeg the Netherlands. The company counts 17 people and is specialized in developing simulation and GPS-navigation software with a growing team experienced software developers. Stentec was founded in 1983 by Ir. Wouter Kuik as a consulting office for the development of wind turbines. Until 2003 Stentec developed its own aeroelastic design software to run projects for Dutch and German manufacturers as well as research institutes. The wind turbine technology and the experience of sailing were used to develop a simulator to experience realistic sailing on the PC. This program was called Sail Simulator. From 1991 until now more then 70.000 samples were successfully sold world wide. More simulation programs did follow (Motorboat Simulator, wind farm and ship simulations). Today Stentec is the developer and publisher of WinGPS navigation software, the most innovative solution for laptop and PC navigation on your ship. Stentec also develops digital nautical charts (DKW) with online update service for safety on board.

A company that trades in ideas and concepts. We decided to start an organization with the goal to convert concepts into products and services and function in an industry agnostic atmosphere. We support the content, IT, ITES, learning, and publishing industries. We intend to develop products that are useful to organizations of all sizes and even freelancers; dynamic and scalable to suit the needs of a large conglomerate as well as user-friendly and cost-effective for someone who works from home.
