The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust inspires and enables young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and underrepresented groups into professional careers. At the core of the Trust we support young aspiring architects, reflecting Stephen's own dream of becoming an architect, before his senseless murder in a racist attack in 1993. The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust was set up in 1998 by Stephens parents, Doreen and Neville Lawrence. They wanted to ensure that future generations of young people would enjoy the opportunities that were denied to Stephen.
