Stimulus Programmamanagement is een onderdeel van de provincie Noord-Brabant, dat Europese, nationale en regionale subsidieprogramma's uitvoert in Zuid-Nederland en Vlaanderen. Stimulus adviseert en faciliteert projectaanvragers en -uitvoerders en controleert de voortgang en rechtmatigheid van de subsidieprojecten. De organisatie is in 1994 opgericht als uitvoeringsorgaan van de SRE-gemeenten (samenwerkingsverband van 21 gemeenten in Zuidoost-Brabant) en de provincie Noord-Brabant om het management en de uitvoering van het toenmalige Stimulus I-programma 1994-1996 voor de regio Eindhoven in goede banen te leiden. Daarna volgde het beheer van het Stimulus II-programma 1997-1999. In de daaropvolgende jaren, vanaf het EPD 2000-2006, is Stimulus Programmamanagement uitgegroeid van een Zuidoost-Brabantse organisatie tot uitvoeringsorganisatie voor de besteding van de regionale structuurfondsmiddelen vanuit het EFRO voor heel Zuid-Nederland.
