Adapazarı Su ve Kanalizasyon İdaresi Genel Müdürlüğü (ADASU), Sakarya Büyükşehir Belediyesinin su ve kanalizasyon hizmetlerini yürütmek ve bu amaçla gereken her türlü tesisi kurmak, kurulu olanları devralmak ve bir elden işletmek üzere, Bakanlar Kurulunun 23.08.2001 tarih 3152 sayılı kararı ile kurulmuştur. Kuruluşunda 3 ilçe ile 9 İlk Kademe Belediyeye hizmet eden ADASU, 5216 sayılı Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kanunun yürürlüğe girmesiyle birlikte 7 İlçe Belediyesi ve 14 İlk Kademe Belediyesine hizmet vermeye başlamıştır. 06.03.2008 tarih 5747 sayılı Bakanlar Kurulu Kararıyla ilk kademe belediyelerin ilçe yapılması sonucu 10 ilçe belediyesine hizmet vermeye devam etmiştir. Sınırlarımız içerisinde 201 mahalle ile 118 orman köy bulunmaktadır. ADASU, büyükşehir sınırları dışında; Bakanlar Kurulunun 06.03.2009 tarih 14818 sayılı kararıyla 01.07.2009 tarihinde Gölkent Belediyesi ile; Bakanlar Kurulunun 02.09.2009 tarih 15440 sayılı kararıyla da 02.02.2010 tarihinde Sinanoğlu belediyesi ile yapılan birer protokolle hizmet alanını genişletmiştir. 143.953 hektarlık hizmet alanında, 666.517 nüfusa hizmet veren ADASU, 624 personelle, sorumluluk alanı içindeki 236.320 aboneye hizmet vermektedir. (Abone sayısı 30 Nisan 2013 tarihi itibariyle) Adapazarı Su ve Kanalizasyon İdaresi Genel Müdürlüğünün ismi (ADASU), 31.01.2011 tarih, 1388 sayılı Bakanlar Kurulu Kararıyla, Sakarya Su ve Kanalizasyon İdaresi Genel Müdürlüğü (SASKİ) şeklinde 13.02.2011 tarih 27845 sayılı Resmi Gazeteden yayınlanarak değiştirilmiştir. Sakarya Su ve Kanalizasyon İdaresi Genel Müdürlüğü (SASKİ), Sakarya Büyükşehir Belediyesine bağlı müstakil bütçeli ve kamu tüzel kişiliğine haiz bir kuruluştur. Teşkilatı, Yönetim ve Karar Organları, Ana Hizmet Birimleri ve Denetim birimlerinden meydana gelir.

SASP is the County Sports Partnership for Somerset, one of 49 across England established by Sport England to be the strategic lead for sport in the country. SASPs team is funded through a variety of partners which include Sport England, Local authorities, National Governing Bodies of Sport, Department of Health and income generated through its coaching team.
