A SBGC – Sociedade Brasileira de Gestão do Conhecimento – é uma organização não governamental sem fins lucrativos qualificada como OSCIP - Organização da Sociedade Civil de Interesse Público - que atua para a inserção das pessoas e organizações na Sociedade do Conhecimento, contribuindo para diminuir a desigualdade no acesso ao conhecimento e a competitividade às organizações. A SBGC, assim, é o grande fórum de discussão e estímulo à Gestão do Conhecimento, Capital Intelectual e áreas afins no país. Congrega pessoas e organizações interessadas em praticar, desenvolver, pesquisar e compartilhar Gestão do Conhecimento, dentro dos princípios de inclusão, representatividade e transparência da SBGC. Com Regionais em dez Estados - BA, CE, ES, MG, PR, PE, RJ, RS, SC, SP, - e um no Distrito Federal, totalizando onze Pólos, e 4 (quatro) Núcleos nas cidades de Tocantins (vinculado ao Pólo DF); Campinas (vinculado ao Pólo SP) Blumenau e em Joinville (ambos vinculados ao Pólo SC), além das comunidades temáticas criadas em seu website, a SBGC tem centenas de associados pessoas físicas, de praticamente todos os Estados brasileiros e 25.174 usuários cadastrados cuja maioria têm formação superior, especialização, mestrado e doutorado.

The SBGrid Consortium is a community-based software collaborative operating out of Harvard Medical School that includes hundreds of scientists and software developers around the world engaged in research using X-ray crystallography, NMR, and electron microscopy. SBGrid provides member laboratories with a tested and refined library of over 400 scientific applications that support structure determination. As part of our mission to expand access, facilitate communication, and lower barriers to research, we host monthly live educational seminars and webinars led by scientists and software developers talking about what's new in structural biology, giving tutorials, demonstrating new features, and previewing future developments. Through occasional hands-on workshops and local computing schools, we also offer more intensive training opportunities to members.

Incorporated in 1998, SBI BioEnergy Inc. (SBI) is an Albertan company that develops unique environment-friendly renewable DROP-IN energy resources. Such resources include: Hydrogen, Bio-gasoline, Bio-Jet fuel, Renewable Diesel, FAME Biodiesel and their production technologies. Golu Hydrogen Technologies Inc., a spinoff from and backed by SBI group of companies, has developed a disruptive green hydrogen production technology, Gölu-H2. This technology thermo-catalytically extracts hydrogen from a combination of water and a renewable product, ethanol which, unlike electrolysers, requires no electricity. Gölu-H2 allows the decentralized production of green hydrogen and clean electricity, independent of petroleum feed stocks and high CAPEX wind and solar energy. Using widely available low carbon ethanol as feed stock in Gölu-H2 solves the hydrogen distribution problem by tapping into existing petroleum pipelines, transportation, distribution, storage and dispensing systems readily available globally. The Gölu-H2 modularized integrated power generation systems are specially designed for onsite hydrogen generation for the refueling of heavy and light duty HFCEVs and generating power for EV charging. Modular units to be installed onboard a flatbed rail car or a ship will generate hydrogen to power a locomotive or a ship. Rail and ship owners will use existing liquid fuel storage and dispensing facilities for ethanol to avoid building costs of prohibitive hydrogen supply chain infrastructure. Larger scale Gölu-H2 units will help decarbonize conventional gray hydrogen utilizing industry sectors such as power generation, petroleum hydro processing, biofuel, SAF, ammonia, fertilizers, bioplastics and steel manufacturing sectors.
