Sacred Heart Junior College was established in 1999 to offer opportunities for Tertiary Level Education in the area. The College was initially established in 1967 as a girls school by the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions and began enrolling boys in 1977. The College is now fully co-educational, with an intake of approximately 238 students in Year 7. At present, the College employs 170 staff members.
