This means that the company accounts for about 25 percent of the total volume of natural gas storage facilities in Germany. In Rehden in northern Germany, the company has one of the largest natural gas storage facilities in Western Europe - with a volume of around four billion cubic metres of working gas. In addition, the storage company markets around one third of the capacities of Central Europe's second largest storage facility in Haidach, Austria.
