Community Action Agency of St. Louis County, Inc. (d/b/a CAASTLC) is part of a national network of federally funded Community Action Agencies (CAAs), created by the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964. CAAs administer various programs on community levels to assist low-income people out of poverty conditions. Nationwide, CAAs help 11.5 million people toward self-sufficiency. Community Action Agency of St. Louis County or CAASTLC is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit corporation that has provided services in St. Louis County for over 53 years. Originally incorporated as Metroplex, Inc. in 1968, CAASTLC was founded as a satellite agency of and administered by the Human Development Corporation of Metropolitan St. Louis. In 1978, Metroplex, Inc. became a separate designated entity to provide anti-poverty programs for St. Louis County, excluding Wellston. In 1996, the agency's name was changed to STEP, Inc. and, in 2003, STEP, Inc. became CAASTLC. Services are provided to over 22,000 low-income people in St. Louis County annually. The mission of CAASTLC, Inc. is to stabilize and enrich vulnerable households by instilling hope an creating pathways to empowerment. We are committed to helping the families and communities of St. Louis County transition from poverty to self-sufficiency for present and future generations.

The Community at Holy Family Manor (CHFM) is a 501c3 designated nonprofit operated by the Congregation of Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth (CSFN). The CSFN seeks to serve families and encourage and empower them to fulfill their role in society and the church. The Community at Holy Family Manor consists of a state-licensed personal care home and memory care unit (Holy Family Manor) and a Keystone STARS 4-star accredited daycare and preschool (Mt. Nazareth Learning Center). CHFM embodies two core service areas - senior care, and child care. Holy Family Manor is a licensed personal care home (assisted living) with a memory care unit. Mt. Nazareth Learning Center is a Keystone STARS 4-star accredited day care and pre-school.

We believe citizens, businesses, and local governments have the power to take action, implement policy, and reduce emissions right here in our own backyard of Central Virginia. C3 catalyzes climate action at the community level through collaboration, programs, and advocacy which directly reduce climate emissions and elevate the climate leadership of Virginia communities. We work closely with citizens, businesses, local governments, schools, and nonprofits to develop climate action plans which build in equity while drastically reducing climate pollution. These plans include tangible and measurable actions that are accessible to any individual or organization's needs. We believe that C3's action at the local level can serve as a model for community climate action throughout the Commonwealth and beyond.

Shropshire Rural Community Council (RCC) is an independent charity established over 50 years ago to benefit people in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin. Volunteers allow us to help those with care and financial needs in the local community.
