CDC is governed by an Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Stakeholders represent communication, government, academia, finance, business, civic and other interests. CDC employs a professional staff with extensive experience in a variety of development and technical fields. The Copper Cellar Family of Restaurants was founded in 1975 and remains an East Tennessee favorite to this day. We currently have 21 restaurants and 3 event venues: Copper Cellar, Chesapeake's, Calhoun's, Smoky Mountain Brewery, Cherokee Grill, Corner16 and The Showroom. We are locally owned and operated and we take great pride in serving up simple foods with the finest quality ingredients.
