The Discovery Programme is an independent archaeological research institute. We are currently funded by the Heritage Council from the Department of Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht (DAHG). Over the past twenty years the Discovery Programme has led the way in many innovative approaches to archaeological research in Ireland, particularly in the use of applied technology and interdisciplinary studies.
