The Faculty of Engineering, LTH, is a faculty of Lund University and has overall responsibility for education and research in engineering, architecture and industrial design. Our strategies are based on diversity and cross-boundary cooperation and are characterised by gender equality, participation, quality and renewal. For more than 50 years, education, research and innovations with their roots in LTH have made a significant and lasting impression on society. Today, we are home to some of Sweden’s most attractive study programmes, and have a broad research base. We are world-leading in a number of fields, including nanotechnology, combustion physics and medical technology. The Faculty of Engineering, LTH, is home to 9,600 students and 1,500 employees from all over the world. Most of our programmes are taught in Lund, but a few are housed at the campus in Helsingborg, and the School of Aviation is located in Ljungbyhed.

The Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw was founded in 1972. The Fairness Center is a nonprofit, public interest law firm that provides free legal services to those hurt by public sector union officials. Being, above all, client centric, we vigorously pursue our clients’ goals through a cohesive, holistic approach to representation, advocating for our clients both in the court of law and the court of public opinion. The firm’s seasoned litigation attorneys employ a variety of strategies to further our clients’ best interests, handling matters ranging from administrative charges and hearings to traditional and class-action lawsuits in federal and state courts. Our firm has filed a wide variety of lawsuits on behalf of individuals who are both union and non-union members. Our clients have: • Forced Pennsylvania’s largest public unions to change their contracts, freeing over 50,000 public employees from limits on when they can leave the union. • Uncovered stolen union dues and demanded answers for why a union didn’t follow its own financial policies while tens of thousands of dollars were embezzled. • Defended a local union’s right to separate from a state union—and exposed what a court called “questionable” financial practices. • Won a judge’s ruling that union officials violated their duty to treat all employees fairly when the union misled its own members during contract ratification. • Filed federal class actions against three of Pennsylvania’s largest public unions over how they trap thousands of employees into membership or into paying dues after they leave the union.
