There are many people talking these days about what the future of work will look like on the other side of the pandemic. Talking is good, but we think TAKING ACTION is better. The purpose of the Forward Collective is to gather the “go-getters” of the HR & workplace community who want to take action toward a better workplace of the COVID/post-COVID world. We are a group of start-up founders, corporations and thought leaders committed to creating practical solutions for the new workplace. Members of Forward Co. interact in these ways: - Discuss, share and learn about the current workplace challenges and opportunities with others in the “new work” sector. - Read and contribute to the Insights collection, the go-to resource for innovative approaches that move the workplace forward. - Participate in online events that spark real-world solutions to new workplace challenges. The Foster Care Co-operative is a not for profit foster care agency, offering quality fostering placements within the UK, combining integrity and commitment with positive outcomes for children. On any one day there are more than 62,000 children living with foster families across the UK, and every 22 minutes a child comes into care in need of a foster family. It is estimated that a further 8,600 foster carers are needed this year alone to provide the supportive, stable and caring home for these vulnerable children. The Foster Care Co-operative (FCC) has been placing children in family homes for fifteen years. As a not for profit foster care agency, any surplus income FCC makes is re-invested to provide more foster care support, more training and towards recruiting more foster carers, to give a stable home environment to more children. The FCC is above all child orientated; taking great care to match children with foster carers. There is no pressure to place children in order to maximise profit, with a special culture based on valuing foster carers and dedication to providing mutual support that will change a childs life. The stability of placements with FCC is more than six times higher than the national average. Above all FCC adheres to the traditional Co-operative values; open, honest, local, loved and trusted.
The Foundation is proudly independent consultancy that’s been studying, supporting and helping create customer pioneers since 1999. We do this by helping clients see the world from the outside-in and giving them the belief needed to act with conviction. One big way we do this is by Immersion; into customers’ lives and into new perspectives from outside their industry. We work with clients in three areas: • Customer Strategy - understanding what really matters to customers and using that to make informed strategic choices • Customer Experience - creating strategies and experiences that continually make life better for customers • Customer-led Transformation - setting up to systematically, repeatably and sustainably create customer-led success Our three practice areas are united by a way of working that helps our clients see the world from the outside-in and believe they’ll succeed by acting on it. Being customer-led isn't simply asking customers what they want and then doing it. Great customer-led organisations - Customer Pioneers - understand what people really value. Then they trailblaze on their behalf. Leaders naturally see the world from the inside-out, surrounded by colleagues, the business and their industry. Customers are distant and peripheral. So we challenge the natural self-centred view of the world, connecting clients in person with outside-in perspectives. We immerse them in the lives of the people they serve to understand what really matters, revealing inconvenient truths that lead to new ideas and a visceral belief that they are needed. And we introduce them to leaders and experts in other sectors who've been there and done it, giving them both inspiration and confidence to make difficult decisions and take bold action. The outcomes are better organisations, brands, and businesses - more successful for customers, colleagues, shareholders and stakeholders.

"The Foundation for Community Betterment is a national organization dedicated to engaging individuals of all ages in community enhancement by creating an immediate, positive impact on the lives of individuals or organizations that share our philanthropic vision, but who currently lack the means to succeed." The recipients may be individuals who are having difficulties in life, be it from illness, natural disaster, poverty or just simple bad luck but have also demonstrated generosity, courage and commitment to charitable causes and community generosity, even in the face of their troubles. The foundation also supports organizations that are striving to make a philanthropic impact in their communities and neighborhoods. Our hope is that support from Betterment will be a gift that keeps on giving -- when our recipients continue to positively impact those around them."
