As the largest community foundation in Central Appalachia, we award over $13 million in grants and scholarships annually. The Foundation was created in 1962 by and for the people of the Greater Kanawha Valley area. This area encompasses the following six-county region: Kanawha, Putnam, Boone, Clay, Lincoln, and Fayette. The Foundation is here to help individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofits improve the lives within the community now and for generations to come. We assist donors in creating charitable funds, each with its own philanthropic purpose, and provide grants to nonprofits that meet the needs of the community. The GMChorale has become one of New England’s finest and most engaging choruses since its founding in 1977 as The Greater Middletown Chorale. Today, the GMChorale is celebrated for its innovative symphonic choral presentations, and often performs with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, and other ensembles. GMChorale has taken two European concert tours and provided music for the Sunday noon mass at Venice’s extraordinary Basilica San Marco. Under the inspired leadership of Joseph D’Eugenio, the Chorale performs a wide range of choral repertoire, from beloved masterworks to newly commissioned pieces. The GMChorale has commissioned and premiered new choral works by leading composers including Gwyneth Walker, Eugenie Rocherolle, Peter Niedmann, Colin Britt, Ellen Gilson Voth, Lee McQuillan, Henry Mollicone, Grammy-nominated composer Sarah Meneely-Kyder. ​ As the GMChorale enters its fifth decade, the organization is broadening its mission and the scope of its offerings to bring the power and beauty of choral music to people and communities across Connecticut. It is a core principle of the Chorale that the power of music is should be enjoyed for a lifetime. The Greater Narellan Business Chamber is the peak business organisation in the Macarthur region in South West Sydney. As an independent not-for-profit organisation supported by NSW Business Chamber, we are dedicated to helping local businesses of all sizes to maximise their potential. The Chamber is a passionate advocate for business in the region, with our Executive Committee leading our members to work together to create positive change. On a one-to-one basis, the Chamber helps all businesses from small enterprises to large corporations make important and lasting connections with fellow business owners and their employees.
