The Hamilton and Alexandra College is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school, ELC to Year 12. With our strong history and traditional values, our students 'learn to learn'. We have outstanding facilities and innovative educational programs with an excellent team of staff enriching confident futures. The College is highly respected as the prime educational institution in the local and regional community and plays an important role through its community work, leadership programs, and co-curricular programs. Day students commute from as far away as Warrnambool, Port Fairy, Balmoral, Mortlake, Portland and Lake Bolac. Our boarders come from metropolitan, rural and regional Australia and overseas. We currently have over 500 students from ELC to Year 12 across our Junior and Senior schools. As well as our full boarding program, we also have a casual boarding and day boarding program, many students live between one to two hours drive from College and enjoy taking the bus home to continue to be a part of their local sporting clubs. Our students have the best of both worlds. The College is a member of the Ecumenical Schools System, holding services and celebrations with the Uniting Church.

The Hance Family Foundation is a nonprofit children's organization created to honor three young sisters Emma, Alyson and Katie Hance. These sisters died in 2009, but through the activities of this Foundation we celebrate their spirits, their love of life, and the kindness and joy that embodied our girls. The Foundation supports childrens endeavors, such as our flagship self esteem educational programming: The Emma, Alyson, and Katie Hance Projects (the EAK Projects), which foster community spirit, social skills, and self-esteem in children ages 5-18. The largest of our projects is the educational self esteem project for girls: Beautiful Me...The EAK Project. We also add to childrens lives through substantial donations to schools and childrens organizations, and through holiday drives and delivery of school supplies. The Hance Family Foundation hosts its only major fundraiser every spring, but collects donations all year long to fund our programs. We are based in Floral Park, NY but are growing quickly, touching the lives of children across Long Island, in NYC, NJ, Chicago, Philadelphia, and potentially nationwide! Healthy, happy, and safe children are the highest priority for the Hance Family Foundation. We are a certified non-profit 501c3.
