We are a bridge to justice for trafficking survivors, both in the United States and around the world. We focus on strategic litigation to halt human trafficking and forced labor around the globe. Our network of pro bono attorneys provide survivors with free legal representation. Together, we work to hold traffickers accountable for their crimes through civil litigation and criminal prosecution. The Human Trafficking Legal Center gains compensation for survivors so that they can reclaim their lives. We are a nonprofit organization, monitoring the federal government and working to improve federal policy to benefit trafficking survivors.

The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo And Stratford Perth is a recognized leader in animal welfare and one of the largest agencies in Canada. We operate two animal centres, one in Kitchener and one in Stratford. We serve our communities by offering community programming, humane education, law enforcement, and sheltering and rehoming of animals for the Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth areas.

The Hummingbird Project is a Brighton based organisation. We provide aid and solidarity to refugee and unaccompanied minors as they flee from conflict and settle in new countries. The project was formed in 2015 to provide aid to refugees in the ‘Jungle’ camp in Calais. Now, the Hummingbird Project is a registered UK charity and runs a number of services and projects across the UK and Europe, in order to ensure refugees and unaccompanied minors receive the vital support they need and deserve, as they work their way towards a better life.

The Humour Foundation is an organisation of expertly trained performers who bring laughter, joy and connection to children’s hospitals and aged care facilities. International research and studies prove the numerous physiological and psychological benefits of laughter to health and wellbeing. Humour is an effective coping strategy, relieving fear, stress and pain, and has positive effects on the cardiovascular, immune and respiratory systems. This underpins The Humour Foundation’s programs; creating laughter where it is unexpected but most needed. Clown Doctors™ - The Humour Foundation’s flagship program - works in partnership with medical and health professionals to divert children and young people during painful procedures, help calm and distract in emergency department settings, encourage positivity and resilience during physio and occupational therapy, and generally improve outcomes in what is often a stressful, anguished environment. The Laughter Care™ program is a world-first, bringing together medicine and the arts in a professional partnership that improves the quality of life of aged care residents in a unique, person-centric way. Laughter Care™ performers are chosen for their sensitivity and empathy, and undertake ongoing, professional training to adequately equip them for the unique demands of working with people living with dementia (52% of aged care residents) and those experiencing social isolation and withdrawal.
