The Montclair Orchestra’s mission is to provide educational opportunities for music students to advance their training through collaboration with conservatories, and professional orchestras and musicians; to collaborate with art, theater, historical and similar organizations to provide comprehensive cultural offerings; and to provide orchestral music for audiences to enjoy and appreciate.

The Montessori School (TMS) educates boys and girls using the authentic Montessori approach—a multi-sensory curriculum that allows for individualized teaching and for students to learn and be challenged at their own pace as they develop academically. As a community that fosters self-confidence, leadership, and respect for self and others, TMS encourages students to grow as self-motivated, intellectually engaged learners who will serve their larger communities as both accomplished students and ambassadors of peace. TMS serves toddlers from 18 months to sixth graders. Each child is individually guided in his learning by highly-trained teachers who have been credentialed by approved post-graduate Montessori programs. The result of this unique education is a student who is an independent learner and critical thinker, skilled in collaborative problem solving, and who exemplifies key traits identified for success in the 21st century. For over 40 years, The Montessori School has been consistent in its approach, helping children build a strong intellectual, social, and emotional foundation for academic and personal success.
