On a daily basis, NAPD members across all 50 states share their education materials, outreach plans, communications, technical assistance, amicus/litigation resources, policy positions, leadership skills, and research and analysis methods in order to leverage the tools for change for the people in the places that need them most. Stronger together, NAPD consolidates enormous talent, energy and potential for justice reform. NAPD includes every professional who is critical to delivering the right to counsel: lawyers, social workers, case managers, investigators, sentencing advocates, paralegals, civil legal aid providers, education advocates, expert support, information technology gurus, teachers and trainers, financial professionals, researchers, legislative advocates, communications personnel, and administrative personnel. Our collective expertise represents state, county and local systems through full-time, contract, and assigned counsel delivery mechanisms; dedicated juvenile, capital and appellate offices; and through a diversity of traditional and holistic practice models.

The Nashville Singers celebrate the power of the human voice to educate, unite, enrich, and inspire, by performing an ever-widening repertoire of choral music at the highest artistic level for a broad community of audiences. Funding for and focus on the performing arts is at an all-time low. Wanting to make a difference, the Nashville Singers organization was founded in November of 2008 with a mission to enrich lives through singing and the support of music education. This male chorus of a dozen volunteer singers raises funds to support music education and fulfills this mission by presenting master classes on the art of a cappella singing to middle and high school students and vocal performance clinics to adults. Through self-produced concert events, community outreach performances at schools (community and private) home school associations, universities, nonprofits, churches, senior centers retirement homes, civic clubs, chambers of commerce, sporting events, and corporate engagements, performances and programs of the Nashville Singers have touched the lives of over 50,000 people since the summer of 2009. In addition, the Nashville Singers have awarded $15,000 in music education grants and scholarships in the last five years, impacting hundreds of students in Middle Tennessee and beyond. Each year, the Nashville Singers also recognize an outstanding music educator by presenting the annual Carol Crittenden Arts Advocate of the Year Award. The hallmark of our success has been careful planning, innovative and visionary thinking, hard work, and a commitment to our mission to enrich lives through singing and the support of music education. Fulfilling our vision will require a significant infusion of financial resources.
