The Mandate of the National Training Agency is; 1.) To develop, implement and maintain a National Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Plan that will create a workforce that is competent, certified, innovative, enterprising and entrepreneurial. 2.) To establish and maintain a National TVET System to harmonize, standardize, monitor and evaluate all formal and non-formal national training efforts in TVET. 3.) To continually assess and provide relevant information on TVET and workforce development, which includes the demand for and supply of human resources in collaboration with state and other agencies. 4.) To assist, support and encourage the development of training programmes designed to develop innovation, enterprise and entrepreneurship in the nations human resources. 5.) To develop a structured and active system of communication and partnership with stakeholders to ensure continued relevance and value of the Agency's products and services.

In 1973, the National Wild Turkey Federation was founded in Fredericksburg, Va., as a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit conservation and education organization with a mission dedicated to conservation of the wild turkey and preservation of our hunting heritage. Shortly thereafter the NWTF relocated to Edgefield, S.C., where it's still headquartered today. At the time the NWTF was established, there were only 1.3 million wild turkeys. Today that number stands at more than 6.2 million birds throughout North America, thanks to the efforts of state, federal and provincial wildlife agencies, the NWTF and its members and partners. Growth and progress define the NWTF as it has expanded from 1,300 members in 1973 to more than 230,000 today. With that growth has come impressive strides in wildlife management as the NWTF has forged dynamic partnerships across the country to further its conservation mission. Together, the NWTF's partners, sponsors and grassroots members have raised and spent more than $500 million upholding hunting traditions and conserving more than 23 million acres of wildlife habitat. While wild turkey restoration is nearing completion, the NWTF still has much work to do. Across North America, supporters are working to enhance habitat for wild turkeys and other wildlife while providing hunters with more opportunities and access to public and private land. In addition, NWTF volunteers and partners are introducing youth, women and people with disabilities to the outdoors through special educational events.

The National Youth Orchestras of Scotland (NYOS) is unique in providing a complete orchestral experience for its students aged between 8 and 25, through its comprehensive pathway of orchestras, jazz bands, training ensembles and an ever expanding outreach programme. NYOS is a registered Scottish charity established in 1979. Its core mission is to provide world class music education opportunities for Scotland's most talented young musicians, regardless of geographical location or financial circumstances. NYOS develops students musical talent, social skills and passion for music by providing world-class tuition and practical performance experience under the direction of distinguished conductors, exceptional guest artists and soloists. NYOS is able to continue training to a pre-professional level and many of our students go on to become professional musicians. To ensure a sustainable and complementary provision to the work of local authorities, NYOS relies upon fundraised income and in-kind support from individuals, trusts & foundations and corporate organisations to support its activities each year. By nurturing the talent of Scotland's children and young people, NYOS seeks to ensure students develop the musical, education and life skills which will enhance both their professional and employment prospects, thus contributing to the safeguarding of Scotland's cultural heritage for the enjoyment of future generations.

The Natomas Basin Conservancy was incorporated on October 21, 1994 as a California Non-profit Public Benefit Corporation. It first employed staff on March 15, 1999. The Conservancy is the Plan Operator of the Natomas Basin Habitat Conservation Plan (NBHCP) and the Metro Air Park Habitat Conservation Plan (MAPHCP). The mission of the Conservancy is to promote biological conservation along with economic development and the continuation of agriculture in the Natomas Basin. The NBHCP establishes a multi-species conservation program to mitigate the expected loss of habitat values and take of protected species that result from urban development, operation of irrigation and drainage systems, and rice farming. The goal of the NBHCP is to preserve, restore, and enhance habitat values in the Natomas Basin while allowing urban development to proceed according to local land use plans. Parties to the NBHCP include the California Department of Fish and Game, the City of Sacramento, County of Sutter and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in addition to the Conservancy. The City of Sacramento and County of Sutter are not parties to the MAPHCP. The organization is governed by a 10-member Board of Directors. All Board members are appointed to three-year terms of office by the City of Sacramento and the County of Sutter. The City and County each appoint five members to the Board of Directors.
