The Outbound Group is a minority owned, full service transportation company based in Romulus, Michigan, dedicated to finding solutions for any transportation needs, material handling, and warehousing. The Outbound Group was founded by the Zoccoli family in 1982 with one truck and a few customers in the Detroit area. One night in a discussion at the family kitchen table, we decided to turn our company into something bigger. Since then our one truck has become a fleet of trucks and trailers, and we offer our customers immediate access to air and ocean transportation as well. The Outbound Group of today employs more than 130 people. Although we've grown, our family philosophy still runs through every aspect of the business. Son Harry, along with partner Karl Randolph are the management team at the Outbound Group. They share 52 years of combined experience.

The Outreach Program engages volunteers in business, civic organization, faith based organizations, schools, government agencies, and other nonprofits to package nutritious meals for the hungry. Outreach is unique in that it has 3 meals created for domestic use in the U.S. Those meals were designed by Iowa State University's Food Science department to be nutritious and tasty. A meal packaging event is a tremendous way to engage people of all ages in the fight against hunger in a festive and satisfying way.

OUTWORDS is the first archival project to travel America recording the stories of LGBTQIA2S+ elders: the people who witnessed our history, and made it happen. A nonprofit organization, OUTWORDS was founded by Mason Funk who was inspired by the Shoah Foundation’s Visual History Archive of interviews with Holocaust witnesses and survivors. Half-day interviews are conducted on high-definition digital video by film crews, primarily in the homes of interview subjects. Interviewees include lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex individuals, as well as representatives of various sub-communities of the LGBTQ community including drag queens, leather daddies, lesbian separatists, and allies. Most interviewees are over 60 years old. In May 2018, OUTWORDS received a Creator Award in the Community Giver category from the co-working company WeWork. In May 2019, the first compilation of OUTWORDS interviews, entitled THE BOOK OF PRIDE, was published by HarperCollins, to help commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. The OUTWORDS searchable digital platform makes video interviews freely available to the public.
